IBStage
IBStage is a unique program for students aspiring to a dancing career, held in August in Barcelona. Established by Elias ten years ago it is highly regarded and attracts world class teachers, school directors & company directors such as Julie Kent, Xiomara Reyes, Julio Bocca, Samira Saidi, Larissa Lezhnina, Piotr Nardelli, Tamas Moricz, Yumiko.
Advanced students have the opportunity to audition for the 3 week program culminating in a 2 night Gala performance at the stunning Barcelona Opera House alongside top ballet stars such Xander Parish, Steven McCrae, Polina Semionova, Iana Salenko, Lauren Cuthbertson, Danil Simkin, Vadim Muntagirov - all Principal dancers from companies such as Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre, Staatsballet Berlin, Paris Opera Ballet, New York City Ballet.
Ballet de Catalunya
Elias has gone on to found the Ballet de Catalunya employing many dancers who took part in Ibstage. The company received rave reviews for its 2018 production of Don Quixote. Ballet de Catalunya has grown into a company of 35 dancers. Ballet de Catalunya has had enthusiastic international reviews and has begun touring, this year to Korea.
